Our family has been an inherent part of Rheingau wine history for 575 years. We’re quite proud of this. Today, our estate is run by the 25th generation...and the 26th generation is already playing “hide and seek” in the vineyards. Such a long family tradition coud not have evolved without generations of commitment to sustainability.
We don’t regard sustainability as a modern marketing concept, but rather a responsible approach to viticulture that we owe to the environment, our customers, and our family. We combine traditional methods of wine-growing with the latest findings on modern winemaking. Our goal is to produce the best quality possible in harmony with nature. This is our driving force and daily challenge.
